Ms. Thompson has 30 years of professional experience performing speech, language and communication therapy for children with hearing and language disabilities, and autism, evaluating student assessment, mentoring, teaching and supervising students.

Thompson, Speech and Language Pathologist for Williams Grace Elementary School in the Farmington Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of special education.

With 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Thompson excels in performing speech, language and communication therapy for children with hearing and language disabilities, and autism, evaluating student assessment, mentoring, teaching and supervising students. The most rewarding and gratifying aspects of her career is watching her students communicate and function well in the real world and receiving excellent reputation from others.

Ms. Thompson considers working in the school district for more than 20 years and keeping herself continually educated to be her greatest professional accomplishment. She is a certified speech-language pathologist from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a licensed speech-language pathologist from the Arkansas Psychological Association.

Ms. Thompson earned a Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology in 1978 and a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology in 1977 from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She volunteers with several mission works in Guatemala and stays current with the trends in her profession by attending training programs, reading industry-related publications and continuing education courses. She aspires to open a private center for at-risk children in the future.
