Wheelchair clinic being held for Ontario March of Dimes in Sault Ste. Marie
On Tuesday, July 22, Ontario March of Dimes in partnership with Motion Specialties will be holding a wheelchair clinic and will be repairing mobility equipment.

/Disability News Articles/ - TORONTO, CANADA, July 09, 2008 - The wheelchair clinic will be taking place July 22, 2008 between 10am and 4pm at Cambrian Mall located at 44 Great Northern Road, Sault Ste. Marie. People can bring in their manual or power wheelchairs, electric scooters, walkers, canes and more for a free maintenance inspection. Individuals that will be booking para-transit are asked to ensure they inform the operator that they are booking for the wheelchair clinic at Cambrian Mall. In addition to the clinic, representatives from March of Dimes Assistive Devices Program (ADP) will be on-hand to provide funding consultations for the cost of repairs or the purchase of new devices. ADP provides partial funding to more than 1,400 people a year for the purchase and maintenance of equipment such as, manual and motorized wheelchairs, lifting equipment, bath aids, seating inserts and wheelchair cushions, canes, crutches and walkers and more.
