HADDONFIELD, NJ, October 4, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tamika Arnille Francois, Speech-Language Pathologist and Founder of The Sound of Storytelling, LLC, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of speech-language pathology.
With more than three years of professional experience as a speech-language pathologist, Ms. Francois has hands-on experience working with children suffering from attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, apraxia, articulation disorders, autism, cerebral palsy, Down and Fragile X syndromes, language delay and learning disabilities. Ms. Francois established The Sound of Storytelling in June 2008 to help students of various cultures and languages close achievement and literacy gaps by fostering the development of narrative language skills. Services offered include screenings, assessments and evaluations, treatment and follow-up, counseling, case documentation, equipment maintenance, meetings and conferences. She credits her success to her ability to identify and address the needs of the community.
A graduate of Hofstra University, Ms. Francois received her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology and a certification in clinical competency-speech-language pathology in 2004. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of New Jersey in 2002 and has completed doctoral coursework in neuropsychology. She is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, the National Association of Professional Women and Walks for Autism.
