Raymond White Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Business Management
Pennsylvania-Based Business Administration Specialist and CEO of The Watson Institute

SEWICKLEY, PA, November 27, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Raymond B. White is the Chief Executive Officer of the Watson Institute (formerly D.T. Watson Rehabilitation Services, Inc.) which includes the Margaret H.W. Watson Foundation, The Education Center, the LEAP Preschool Program and Craig Academy. In addition to overseeing daily operations, he is responsible for planning, development, marketing, community relations, Board development and new programs. Before becoming CEO, Ray served as President of the Margaret H.W. Watson Foundation and was a member of the Board of Trustees.

Prior to his roles at Watson, he was a Principal and Senior Vice President of Johnson & Higgins, which prior to its sale was the largest private insurance broker/consultant in the world. He served in several roles in three of their offices over 27 years.

Ray is a graduate of West Virginia University with a major in Finance, the College of Insurance in New York City "with highest distinction" and the Columbia University Graduate School of Business Marketing Management Program.

His community involvement has included service as President of the following Boards: Craig House (now Craig Academy), Pittsburgh Philharmonic, West Virginia University Alumni (Pittsburgh chapter) and Allegheny Country Club. He has also served as board member of Ursuline Center, the Pittsburgh Boys Club, the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Boyd Community Center and Library. Ray served as Chair of the Dean's Visiting Committee of West Virginia University College of Business and Economics and currently chairs their Strategic Planning committee. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member at WVU.

The Watson Institute is an educational institute that provides programs for special needs students ages three to 21 diagnosed with cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, brain injuries, neurological impairments and severe emotional challenges.
