Ramona Satterwhite Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Special Education
Veteran Educator with 41 Years of Professional Experience

DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, FL, December 23, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ramona Satterwhite, Teacher at Walton Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of special education.

Ms. Satterwhite has an unprecedented 41 years of professional experience in the education field. An expert in the areas of special and elementary education, she proudly taught internationally in both Germany and Spain. Passionate about educating non-English speaking citizens, she wrote curriculum for use by Asian women studying English. She considers assisting her students to succeed to be the most gratifying aspect of her career.

A love for teaching is the driving force behind Ms. Satterwhite's success. A certified special educator, she received her Master of Education in Elementary Education from McNeese State University in 1973 and her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Texas Woman's University in 1965. A member of the United Methodist Church, she taught Sunday school for 35 years and is a coordinator for the Special Olympics in Florida.
