Jeanne M. Sorensen Honored by Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Speech-Language Pathology
Ms. Sorensen has been assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency for nearly two decades.
American Fork, UT, March 27, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jeanne M. Sorensen, Speech-Language Pathologist for the Alpine School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of speech-language pathology.
Ms. Sorensen has been assessing, diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency for nearly two decades. At Alpine School District, she develops individualized plans of care, tailored to each student needs, so that they can fulfill their educational goals. She finds it especially rewarding to know that she is making a difference in children's lives. One example in particular stands out - she worked with one student for 11 years, ultimately helping him successfully transition to a more demanding school schedule.
Ms. Sorensen received her Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Utah State University and she is a member of the National Education Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
