He teaches families and professionals how to use the Family Empowerment Pathway to define and then address the needs, fears, hopes and dreams of the family and their Special Needs Loved One. He became involved in his profession because he wanted to help people and their families. He attributes his success to the support he receives from his wife, his continued diligence, the families he works with and his faith in God. He serves on the Board of Directors for The Arc of Mecklenburg County, completed his MBA in 2003 and his Certification in Special Care Planning in 2005. In his free time, Ryan enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with his wife and 3 children.
