Amy E. Hammond Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Amy E. Hammond celebrates 21 years in the special education field
RUTHERFORD, NJ, September 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amy E. Hammond, Teacher of the Handicapped for Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
As a teacher of the Handicapped for Passaic County Elks Cerebral Palsy Treatment Center, Ms. Hammond excels in creating one-on-one programs based on students' needs. She teaches special education and mathematics to multiple handicapped students, ranging from ages 12 to 21 years of age. She gained an interest in the field when she participated in a special education camp as a senior in high school. She attributes her success to her hard work and dedication.
Ms. Hammond received her Master of Science in Counseling from Montclair State University. She is a recipient of the Recognition Award for 10 Years of Service. In the future, she would like to become a counselor.
