Amber Lee Cece's professional focus is on the visually impaired and the Braille code
HOUSTON, TX, December 18, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amber Lee Cece, Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired for Grady Middle School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.
Ms. Cece has eight years of overall professional experience in education. As a certified teacher of the visually impaired, she is responsible for working directly with students with visual impairments, and teaching the Braille code. She became involved in her profession because she was inspired to be a teacher by her grandmother, who was an elementary school principal, and was motivated to special education because her brother was multi-impaired.
A former member of the Council for Exceptional Children, Ms. Cece is pursuing her Master's Degree in Special Education. In 2007, she became a certified teacher for the visually impaired through Texas Tech University. She received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin. In January, she will begin a Master's in ESL and also become certified in TEFL.
