Brenda Harcrow Blackwell has devoted her career to working with disabled students

ARKADELPHIA, AR, December 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ --Brenda Harcrow Blackwell, Teacher for the Little Rock School District, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

As a teacher for the Little Rock School District, Ms. Blackwell is responsible for teaching special students. However, she has spent most of her career conducting evaluations and assessments, diagnosing learning disabilities and mental retardation, supervising and performing administrative duties. Throughout her 40-year career in education, she has received a variety of honors and awards and has been a member of various women and educational organizations. She attributes her success to her thirst for knowledge and desire to make a difference in the educational field.

Ms. Blackwell received her Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education from Henderson State University, Arkansas. She is a certified school administrator and supervisor as well as a certified educational diagnostician and examiner. Her Master of Education was earned at Sul Ross State University, Texas.
