C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation Board of Directors Elects New Officers
Jim Owens, Executive Director of the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, announced today that new officers have been elected to the Board of Directors.


RENTON, WA, February 25, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jim Owens, Executive Director of the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation, announced today that new officers have been elected to the Board of Directors. Professional Bass Fisherman Jay Yelas, of Corvallis, OR, will take the helm as President; Fort Worth Businessman Troy Moncrief will assume the role of Vice President and Seattle Architect Patrick McBride will retain the position of Secretary/Treasurer. "It is an honor to be President and I look forward to continuing our great heritage of serving the under privileged youth of America through fishing events around the country" stated Yelas, following the election. Currently, over 40 C.A.S.T. events have been scheduled across the country and it is estimated the as many as 25 more could be added to the 2010 schedule. "I've been organizing an event for 10 years now", said Moncrief, "and each year it brings tears to my eyes to see kids put their challenges aside to have the time of their lives".
