David Clark Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
David Clark aided in the development of his clients' motor and social skills
MOUNT AIRY, GA, November 18, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David Clark, Retired Occupational Therapist, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in occupational therapy and rehabilitation.
Mr. Clark is retired from his 35-year-long career as an occupational therapist. On a regular basis, he helped clients perform activities and exercises that stimulate living independently. He catered much of his practice to the mentally, physically, developmentally and emotionally disabled. His goal was to encourage his clients' development of motor and social skills, so that they could lead more productive, and responsible, personal and professional lives.
Before working in this capacity, Mr. Clark served in the medical division of the United States Air Force. He has held various position of employment with the Neurological Rehabilitation Center, Nova Northeastern University, the West Palm Beach Rehabilitation Center, and the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
He has completed all classwork for a double master's degree in special education and allied health administration, as well as a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy. Mr. Clark has been honored with awards of recognition by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Florida Occupational Therapy Association and the College of Health Related Professions at the University of Florida. He dedicates his free time to the Concordia United Methodist Church, where he is an administrative board member and the Sunday School Superintendent.
