Dr. Priscilla A. O'Connell develops curriculum for high school students

FRANKLIN SQUARE, NY, December 9, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Priscilla A. O'Connell, Curriculum Coordinator for Martin de Porres Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Dr. O'Connell has 30 years of professional experience. Her expertise is in Special Education, and her responsibility is designing curriculum in accordance with students' needs and state standards. She has dedicated her life to working with handicapped children and helping them achieve their maximum potential.

Dr. O'Connell graduated from St. John's University in 2003 with a doctorate in Instructional Leadership and received a Certificate of Academic Excellence. She also received a master's degree in Special Education from Adelphi University. She is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children, Phi Delta Kappa and ASCD. In her spare time, Dr. O'Connell volunteers at St. Catherine of Sienna.
