BIRMINGHAM, AL, February 4, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sherry Huntley Harris, Educator at the Birmingham City Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in special education.
As a Birmingham City Schools educator, Ms. Harris is responsible for teaching special needs students in an inclusive classroom. She observes other educators, ensures task completion and performs psychological testing. With 22 years of experience in her field, she attributes her success to her hard work and ability to accomplish her goals.
In 2001, Ms. Harris received a Master of Education in Psychometry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. A licensed minister, she is a member of the Alabama Education Association and the National Education Association. Ms. Harris volunteers her free time to her local homeless shelter. In the future, she intends to obtain a degree in psychology.
