LOXLEY, AL, September 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Janet F. Boukal, Qualified Developmental Disability Professional for The Arc of Alabama, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in operations management.

With 10 years of experience in her field, Ms. Boukal specializes in assisting intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals. At The Arc of Alabama, Inc., she is responsible for managing 16 to 25 staff members, overseeing daily programs, and maintaining training sessions. She attributes her success to having passion for her work.

Ms. Boukal received a Bachelor of Science in human resources from the University of Nebraska in 1994. She is a member of The National Association of Qualified Developmental Disability Professionals. In her free time, she is involved with United Way of America, the Special Olympics and Habitat for Humanity International.

The Arc of Alabama, Inc. coordinates residential services, day programs and training for individuals with special needs. The organization is currently involved with establishing a 32,000 square-foot training center which will also serve as a multi-needs evacuation shelter.
